When I’m looking for a specific outfit or piece to add to my closet, I usually get myself in trouble. Typically, I get an idea in my mind of what I want and end up on a lengthy search only to find myself disappointed with the options. Yes, I can be pretty picky, but if I’m lucky enough to satisfy my wish list and find something so “me” and something I absolutely love, the search is worth it.
Which is exactly what happened with this Gianni Bini floral embroidered jumpsuit.
I’ve actually had this gorgeously detailed piece for a few months now, wearing it on our Vegas trip and for cocktail hour in Chicago, and I’m so excited to finally share it. The search for the perfect embroidered jumpsuit started before we jetted off to Sin City in March, knowing I was obsessed with anything embroidered and being specifically smitten with black pieces donning pink & red roses. The magic retail moment happened at our local Dillard’s and I sprang on this Gianni Bini floral embroidered jumpsuit like kids on cake.
Besides the embroidery, I’m in love with the see-through detail, the high-neck halter and the cropped wide-leg bottom. So, yes, everything. And I can’t think of an event it wouldn’t be perfect for – trips, weddings, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, date night… a fancy Monday? Literally, I would take any excuse to wear it. Which is a good thing as I consider the embroidered beauty to be an investment piece. Something trendy that isn’t too “out there” and one I know will have a place in my closet for years.
The Gianni Bini floral embroidered jumpsuit really speaks for itself, so I like to keep my accessories simple and my shoes nude. What I love about the lace up heel is it seems to disappear into the cropped leg making it a more cohesive outfit. But, if you have longer legs, a simple, strapped heel would work great, too. I’ve linked more shoe options below! Last, but not least, I chose the simple yet gorgeous celestial cuff and matching earrings from Stella & Dot to finish it off.
