After a relaxing weekend with family and friends, I thought Monday would be a bit easier, feeling refreshed and ready to go for a new week. Even though I have a positive outlook for the week ahead – and the first day of fall! – that Monday feeling still hit hard this morning.
Regardless, Mondays are bittersweet as something good usually comes around, and today it is my collaboration with online retailer, Dressfo! Focusing on women’s fashion at affordable prices, my first impression of Dressfo was impressed by the variety of products offered. Anything from dresses to swimwear, the unique selection proved worthy after I chose this dark floral dress that matches up perfect with this year’s fall trends. Typically, I am a bit hesitant to try out a new online retail store as pictures can be deceiving and quality can’t be checked before purchase. However, after receiving this dress from Dressfo, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality at such an affordable price.
The dress has a relaxed fit which I love, but pairing it with booties for a fall appropriate look made a cinched waist necessary. This Asos belt was the perfect solution. Not only is dark floral on trend, but western elements have been popping up everywhere as well. The contrast between the soft dress and structured belt give the whole outfit an edgy look.
Layering is key this time of year while days are hot and evenings quickly cool down. A great staple piece to throw on is a denim button up. This one from Gap has been in my closet for years and has been worn alone, with jeans, under sweaters and over dresses!
These Dolce Vita booties are possibly my favorite (shoe) purchase so far this season. So comfortable and the open toe makes them perfect while the weather transitions into fall. Plus, the neutral color will go with everything!
As you’re stocking your closet with this season’s trends, I encourage you to stop by Dressfo! This dark floral dress has already been fun to wear and I’m excited to pick up a few more trendy pieces from their online store without breaking the bank.
